SAT/ACT Math Prep
This 4-week virtual cohort is designed for high school students who want to strengthen their math skills and boost their SAT or ACT scores in a supportive, expert-led environment. This program delivers real results through proven strategies, targeted math instruction, and focused practice.
Each cohort is capped at just 10 students to ensure personalized attention and high engagement. Over the course of 16 live instructional hours, students will:
Master key SAT/ACT math concepts and question types
Build effective test-taking strategies
Strengthen problem-solving skills and accuracy
Gain confidence through guided practice and feedback
Choose one of two cohort options that meet from July 7 – July 28, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM EST:
Cohort A: Meets Mondays & Wednesdays
Cohort B: Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays
Whether your student is aiming to boost their score, gain a competitive edge, or simply feel more confident walking into the test—this small-group experience is designed to help them succeed.
Algebra Readiness Camp
This one-week virtual bootcamp is designed for rising 8th and 9th grade students who are preparing to take Algebra 1 in the fall. Whether your child needs a refresher or a head start, this intensive program builds foundational skills, boosts confidence, and sets them up for success in one of the most critical math years.
Led by a nationally recognized math educator with over 20 years of experience, the bootcamp blends clear instruction, interactive problem-solving, and supportive small-group coaching. With only 10 students per camp, every learner receives focused attention and plenty of practice.
Over 10 hours of live instruction, students will:
Strengthen their understanding of pre-algebra and early algebra concepts
Build number sense, fluency, and flexible thinking
Learn how to break down and solve multi-step problems
Grow their confidence and readiness for a successful school year
Camp Schedule (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM EST):
Camp A: July 7 – 10

Get to
know Briana
Briana Gibson Reeves is a seasoned math educator with over 20 years of experience across public, private, and charter schools. A graduate of Hampton University with a math-focused Economics degree, she began her teaching career through Teach for America and quickly rose to distinction. Just three years in, she was named by the superintendent as one of the top ten teachers in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for student growth and achievement—the youngest educator to receive that honor.
Briana has served as a high school math teacher, department chair, and K–8 math specialist, where she wrote curriculum and coached teachers and principals to elevate math instruction across multiple schools. Most recently, she taught honors math and led an award-winning Math Team at Gilman School. She’s known for blending deep mathematical understanding with creative energy—often using her performance background to make math memorable through songs and storytelling.
In addition to founding Bright Math Studio, Briana is a professional stage, screen, and voice actress, and runs an improvisation-based coaching company. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and travels every chance she gets.
